It has been 5O years since I immigrated to Canada.
On June 16, 1976, I arrived from Singapore via Vancouver to take a job in Prince George, British Columbia, a small city of about 75,000 people at the time. It was not an easy beginning, but friends in Edmonton
(also originally from Singapore) encouraged me to move to Alberta, and I have called this province home ever since.
